My doctrine is this, that if we see cruelty or wrong that we have the power to stop, and do nothing, we make ourselves sharers in the guilt.

我的观点是：如果我们明明有能力阻止暴行或恶行，却袖手旁观，那我们自己也就成了帮凶。
